Who we are

Bunk & Bedtime (“we”, “us”) is a website published by Janet Media Group at bunkandbedtime.com. You can reach us at janet.hoyo@yahoo.com.

What we collect

When you use the contact form

We collect the name, email address, optional subject line and message you type in. These are sent to us by email so we can reply. We keep that email for as long as it is useful to have the conversation on record, and we do not add you to any mailing list — we do not run one.

The contact form includes basic anti-spam measures: a hidden field that only automated submissions fill in, a check on how long the form was open before submission, and a limit on how many times the same IP address can submit in an hour. The IP address is held in memory on the server for that hour only and is not stored.

When you browse the site

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and how people arrive at them. It records things like the pages visited, the approximate region you are in, the type of device and browser, and whether you clicked a product link. IP addresses are anonymized by Google Analytics 4 by default.

We do not use this data to identify individuals, and we could not if we wanted to — it arrives as aggregate reporting.

When you click a product link

Product links pass through our own /go redirect and then to the retailer, which sets a cookie recording that you arrived from this site. That cookie is what lets the retailer pay us a commission if you buy something.

We do not receive your name, address, payment details, or what you bought. We see aggregate commission reporting from the affiliate program, nothing more. Our affiliate disclosure explains the commercial relationship in full.

What we do not collect

• We do not require or offer accounts, so we hold no passwords.
• We do not run a newsletter or a mailing list.
• We do not sell, rent or share personal data with anyone.
• We do not host advertising networks or retargeting pixels.
• We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Cookies

Two kinds of cookie are involved in visiting this site:

• Analytics cookies set by Google Analytics 4, used to count visits and understand which content is read.
• Affiliate cookies set by the retailer when you follow a product link, used to attribute a purchase to this site.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser add-on. Blocking either will not stop the site working.

Third parties

The site is hosted on Vercel, analytics is provided by Google, contact form email is delivered through Microsoft, and product links go to Amazon. Each of those companies handles data under its own privacy policy.

Children

This site is written for adults buying furniture for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information through the contact form, email us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Given how little we collect, in practice that usually means an email you sent us through the contact form.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes — anything that affects what we collect or who we share it with — will be described here rather than made quietly.
